Today, there seem to be many new, small startup companies in the firearms accessories industry. Every day, there are new names and websites, and it seems like many only care about the profits of the sale, and nothing at all about the industry, or the customers. This is a shame, because they firearms community deserves more than to deal with someone with only a fancy name, or flashy website. SO, I thought it would be a good time for everyone to learn more about us, here at Ordnance Direct Company.

My name is Jesse Hitchcock, I am the owner, operater, and president of Ordnance Direct Company. I started this small website, nearly 5 years ago, right after the Federal Assault Weapon ban dropped in 2004. At that time, I wanted to start the company, not purely for business, but to try and influence the industry some. I felt that there was almost no customer service, and no personality with many of the salesmen, and I did not like that. I wanted to bring more of a customer service based atmosphere, knowledge, more friendly, faster shipping, and better product. I wanted to be able to give back to the firearms community. So far, I have been very pleased with the results, with many very satisfied customers. Some of the comments we hear a lot are of the speedy shipping, good communications, and superb packaging of the product for safety during shipping. On average, most orders ship same day, ot the next business day, and are received within 2 to 3 business days, thanks to the USPS.

I have spent my life growing up with firearms, I can always remember being at the gunshops and gunshows, working on projects, and reloading (all with parental supervision, of course) from a very young age. I am in no way an expert at anything (and maybe I would not want to be?), but I have much experience with MANY types of firearms, and have personally tested and evaluated all the products that I sell, at one time or another. So, buy with confidence, your salesman here is a self proclaimed gun fanatic also!!

Currently, Ordnance Direct is a family company, and I do most of the buying, selling, advertising, packaging, shipping, test and evaluation (the fun part), marketing, and website construction and updates myself. All in all, this has been the most fun and exciting venture of my life, and I plan on keeping everything running for a very long time, hoping to keep serving the customers. In the future, you can count on our family company growing, and serving the firearms community better. We have plans for expansion into some limited manufacturing, and will be on the gunshow circuit more in the coming years.
